Where it started.

The origin

A family
business with
big ambitions.

Angelo and Sharimay started Poly Concreting the way most trades businesses do — hard work, word of mouth, a van and a lot of early mornings. A family-owned concreting company based in Morayfield, Queensland, servicing South-East Queensland with everything from residential driveways to large-scale commercial pours.

The business was growing. The website wasn't keeping up. They were on WIX — the platform many small businesses default to because it's accessible and cheap to get started. But WIX was holding them back. Slow load times. Generic layouts that looked like every other concreting company in Queensland. No real ability to run serious paid-ad campaigns with dedicated landing pages.

"They gave me the opportunity to rebuild their whole website — and I wasn't going to waste it."

Angelo and Sharimay came to RASTRICK ready to take the business seriously online. They were already running Google and Microsoft Ads but sending traffic to a site that wasn't built to convert. The brief was clear: rebuild everything properly, build landers that turn ad clicks into quote requests, and make the site look like the business they were becoming — not the one they started as.

What followed was a complete rebuild. Six custom pages. Four high-converting landing pages. A site built to perform on paid search from day one. Poly Concreting has since broken the $1 million revenue mark. Not because of the website alone — because the founders are exceptional operators. But the website stopped being a liability and started being an asset.

What WIX couldn't do.

WIX had gotten Poly Concreting online. But it was generating slow, bloated pages that couldn't convert ad traffic, couldn't rank competitively on local SEO, and looked identical to thousands of other tradesman websites built on the same platform.

Sending paid ad traffic to a WIX site is like filling a leaky bucket. You're paying for clicks but losing them at the landing page because the page isn't built to do one thing well. Generalist pages don't convert. They just exist.

The approach

Built to convert.

The rebuild started from a blank file. Not a WIX export, not a theme — nothing. Every page was designed for a specific purpose and built to do exactly that one thing well.

The main site needed to establish trust quickly and funnel visitors toward a quote request. The landing pages needed to do one thing only: convert a qualified ad click into a lead. No navigation to distract, no unrelated content, no reason to leave without filling in the form.

Purpose-built for Poly Concreting's commercial Google Ads campaign. Every element on this page has one job: turn a click from a commercial building or construction manager into a qualified lead. No main site navigation. No distractions. Just a compelling argument for why Poly Concreting is the right choice for commercial jobs in South-East Queensland.

The page targets commercial concreting keywords — slab work, warehouse floors, car parks, commercial driveways. Built with a strong hero, credibility stack, project examples from commercial jobs, and a prominent quote request form that stays visible as you scroll.

Regional lander built specifically for Microsoft (Bing) Ads targeting the Moreton Bay region — Morayfield, Caboolture, Narangba, Burpengary, North Lakes and surrounds. Hyper-local trust signals matter here — the page makes it clear that Poly Concreting are locals who know the area and have done jobs right in the visitor's suburb.

Microsoft Ads captures a different audience to Google — often older demographics, homeowners, established businesses. The page tone and layout were tuned for that. Straightforward, reassuring, and focused on the quote request form as the single conversion goal.

What happened next.

From family
business to $1M+.

Angelo and Sharimay Poly Concreting was already a well-run operation before the rebuild. Good tradespeople with a growing reputation. But the website wasn't reflecting that — and it wasn't helping the paid campaigns convert.

The rebuild changed the digital side of the business. Faster pages. Dedicated landing pages built for one purpose. A main site that actually looked like the level they were operating at. The paid ads now had destinations built to convert, not generic pages built to exist.

Poly Concreting has since crossed the $1 million revenue milestone. Angelo and Sharimay are still the same hard-working people they were when we started — the website just stopped holding the business back and started pushing it forward.
