§ 03 / Problem & approach

The challenge. The fix.

The challenge

No strong digital presence. No conversion path.

Bin Revivals needed a professional online presence that could do more than exist. The brief was clear: build instant trust, clearly explain residential and commercial 240L bin cleaning services, showcase real reviews and transformation visuals, and support future local SEO growth in the Manawatū region.

The website had to feel clean, modern, and trustworthy — but never generic. For a small local service business, the website is often the first and only impression. If it doesn't convert, nothing else matters.

  • No custom-coded website presence
  • No conversion-focused user journey
  • No clear service or pricing structure online
  • No local SEO foundation for Manawatū search visibility
  • No trust signals or review integration
  • No mobile-optimised experience for local search traffic
The approach

Built around one goal — quotes.

Every decision on this build came back to the same question: does this move a visitor closer to requesting a quote? The homepage was engineered to guide users from problem awareness to action — with clear service explanations, real customer social proof, transparent pricing pathways, and a frictionless contact form at the end of the journey.

Local SEO wasn't an afterthought. Manawatū service-area relevance was built into the page structure, headings, metadata, and schema from day one. The result is a site that's ready to be found — and ready to convert when it is.

  • Conversion-focused homepage built around quote requests
  • Clear service positioning — residential and commercial 240L
  • Real customer reviews and before/after trust signals
  • Simple, transparent pricing structure
  • Local Manawatū SEO targeting baked in at build
  • Fast-loading, mobile-first responsive design
  • LocalBusiness schema and Open Graph metadata
  • Web3Forms integration for direct lead capture
§ 04 / What was built

Six features. One goal.

/ 01
Conversion-focused Homepage
Designed to guide visitors from problem awareness straight to a quote request. Every section earns its place — no filler, no distraction. The user journey has one destination and everything on the page points toward it.
/ 02
Local SEO Foundation
Built around Manawatū service-area relevance and local search visibility. Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, LocalBusiness schema, and sitemap all configured from launch — not retrofitted later.
/ 03
Reviews & Trust Signals
Real customer feedback and genuine trust markers integrated throughout the page. Social proof placed where it matters most — not buried at the bottom, but woven into the journey where buying decisions are made.
/ 04
Pricing & Service Clarity
Clear pricing pathways for both one-off cleans and recurring service plans. Removes hesitation, reduces back-and-forth, and lets visitors self-qualify before they contact — which means warmer, more committed leads.
/ 05
Performance Optimisation
Optimised images, properly-sized logos, preloaded fonts, efficient metadata, and clean loading behaviour. Mobile performance 86, desktop 90. CLS of zero. Not a side note — it's part of the brief from day one.
/ 06
Mobile-First Experience
Local service searches happen on phones. Every layout decision, font size, tap target, and scroll interaction was designed for mobile before anything else. Tested and confirmed across phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop.
§ 05 / What changed

Before. After.

Before the build

Starting point.

  • No strong custom website presence
  • Limited SEO structure
  • No conversion-focused user journey
  • Limited trust presentation
  • No structured service or pricing information
  • No local search visibility foundation
After the build

What it became.

  • Premium custom-coded website
  • Clear service and pricing structure
  • Verified customer reviews included
  • Strong mobile-first experience
  • SEO-ready page structure from launch
  • Fast-loading, optimised assets
  • LocalBusiness schema + Open Graph metadata
  • Quote-focused user journey end to end
  • No monthly subscription fees — Jake & Danielle own it outright
§ 06 / Outcome

The result. Live.

Strong foundations.
Live and converting.

The Bin Revivals website is live at binrevivals.co.nz — achieving strong Lighthouse performance results, a perfect SEO score, and a clean, conversion-focused user experience built to earn trust and drive bookings.

Bin Revivals now has a professional, fast-loading, mobile-first website with local SEO foundations in place from day one — built to earn trust on first click and convert visitors into quote requests.

Because the site is custom-coded in plain HTML and CSS, Jake and Danielle don't pay a cent in monthly subscription fees to keep it online. No Wix. No Squarespace. No Shopify. Just a domain, hosting, and a website they own outright — saving them hundreds every year while maintaining a strong professional presence.

A site that works as hard as the business does. No subscriptions. No templates. No ongoing platform fees.

Built with. No shortcuts.

The approach

Vanilla.
Fast.
Custom.

No frameworks. No bloated builders. No unnecessary dependencies. The Bin Revivals site is built in clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — optimised for speed, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.

Every tool chosen has a clear purpose. Nothing is included to look impressive on a spec sheet — it's included because it makes the website better for the business it serves.
